Compared to nearby bakeries, the food is very cheap but it definitely doesn't compromise on quality. Service is very quick, as you only need to point to the food you want and they'll package it up for you.

I'd rate Lily Bloom four and a half stars. I've been looking for a new go to egg tart spot since New Flushing Bakery closed. Lily Bloom is a small yet well regarded chain in NYC. Bakery has lots of to go classics, bubble tea, and (of course) egg tarts. I had the Portuguese egg tart. It's a bigger tart with generous amount of sweet custard filling. A nice sear and it was served hot. The filling was one of the best that I've had. It's a hefty amount that might sep into the crust a little making it soft and greasy. It was busy but service was quick. Takeout only.

If you come here for the egg tarts, know that there won't be any if you come too early as in 8:15 AM... I love cheap Asian bakery. This fit just that with a wide variety of drink selection. I'm sure that this place and the Xin Fa in 8th Ave that are trending on TikTok is actually one. But this one does have a bit less bread selection (I really truly adore the taro over in Xin Fa, which this one doesn't carry). A very solid spot.

I come here often to buy some bread. You get a tray and tell the worker which kind of breads you want. She will put it on the tray for you and then you can go to the front desk to pay. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable for the quality. This place does get pretty busy, which I don't mind waiting in since I always come here for their breads. Today, I came for their milk tea for breakfast.

Best Pouh taat in Brooklyn I must say. The lady at counter is very pleasant and right away she asked how many of these Portueguese egg tarts I will take to go. Bought half dozen, each egg tart is very creamy, dense and lightly sweetened. It was served piping hot and fresh. Much better than the ones in Flushing, a cheap and filling snack for you gals out there!!
